In Hohenheim a lot of work has been done in the area of tyre modelling focusing on
driving dynamics of agricultural machinery. As a result, the Hohenheim Tyre model
was presented, which is a three-dimensional, validated approach. The aim of the presented
work is to extend the field of application of the existing Hohenheim Tyre
Model so that it is suitable to be used in comfort analysis. Thereby, the simulation of
obstacle passages with high volume agricultural tyres is in the focus of attention. This
paper describes the new approach featuring a new model structure. Parameterisation
procedure and validation results are also presented.
